To apply for the National PG Scholarship (NSPG), the applicant must fulfill the following conditions:

  1. Must be pursuing their first postgraduate degree.
  2. Students who already hold a PG degree cannot apply.
  3. Must be enrolled in first year of a recognized PG program.

  5. Must be studying in a full-time postgraduate course.

1. New Registration (NSP Portal)

  • Visit the New Registration page on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

  • Enter your mobile number → Get OTP → Verify.
  • Complete the e-KYC process.
  • A Reference Number will be generated and sent to your mobile.

2. OTR ID Number Generation (Mandatory Step)

  • Install AadhaarFaceRD service on your Android phone.
  • Install the NSP OTR App from Google Play Store.
  • Select “eKYC with FaceAuth”.
  • Enter your reference number → Send OTP → Verify.
  • Enter OTP + captcha.
  • Proceed for Face Authentication.
  • Once authentication is successful, your OTR ID will be generated and sent to your phone.

3. Fresh Application (After OTR Creation)

  • Visit the Applicant Login page on NSP.
  • Enter your OTR ID + password → Login.
  • Enter OTP → Reset password → Submit.
  • Go to Applicant Dashboard.
  • Open Application Form → Fill all mandatory fields → Upload documents.
  • Click Final Submit (or Save as Draft).

How to Track NSP PG Scholarship Payment Status

  • Students can track their scholarship payment through the PFMS Portal using:
  • Aadhaar Number
  • Bank Account Number
  • NSP Application ID
