PM-YASASVI Scholarship Scheme: A Gateway to Quality Education for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students

PM-YASASVI Scholarship Scheme

The PM-YASASVI Scholarship Scheme (Pradhan Mantri Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India) aims to provide financial support to students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC) and Nomadic Tribes (DNT).

Launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, this initiative is designed to promote higher education among deserving students, ensuring they have access to world-class institutions without the barrier of financial constraints. The scheme offers comprehensive benefits, including tuition fees, living expenses, books, stationery, and even the provision of a laptop/PC.

Objective of the PM-YASASVI Scholarship Scheme

The primary objective of the PM-YASASVI scholarship scheme is to recognise the academic excellence of students from marginalised communities and provide them with the necessary financial support to pursue higher studies. It focuses on students who are looking to study beyond Class XII, ensuring that financial limitations do not hinder their access to quality education in top institutions across India.
