Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 1st March 2026)

  • Khayal & Melody Instruments: 18 to 30 years
  • Dhrupad: 18 to 35 years

Other Eligibility Conditions

  • Only Indian citizens are eligible
  • Candidates receiving any other music scholarship or grant during April 2026–March 2028 are not eligible
  • Full-time or part-time working professionals should not apply
  • Professional musicians, including artists with ‘A’ Grade from All India Radio, are not eligible

There is no separate application form. The candidate’s bio-data itself is considered the application.
